Heavy Growth

“Heavy Growth” explores the entanglement of nature and human intervention—sometimes in harmony, more often in conflict. The images show nature fighting to survive in a world that challenges it, carving its way through a concrete and altered landscape. But this struggle does not remain outside of us. The traces we leave behind inevitably affect us too—we are, after all, part of nature ourselves. Black and white intensifies the tension between growth and decay, strength and fragility—not as opposites, but as inseparable parts of the same reality. Nature and us—boundlessly one.
